KSA TESTING
State KSA Testing for grades 3-5 will begin May 6th.
Next week our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will begin the KSA test. It is important that your student is at school on time for each testing day. Please make sure they have a good night sleep and eat breakfast at home or school each morning. Students will test in reading, math, science, social studies, and writing skills and scores are used as Kentucky’s measure of student proficiency and progress on the state content standards. These standards establish goals for what all students should know and be able to do in each grade. KSA are online assessments. Students will also take a School Climate and Safety Survey as well. We cannot wait to see the great things our Bulldogs will do on these assessments!

3rd Grade Test: May 6, 7, 8, 12, 13
4th Grade Test: May 6, 7, 8, 9, 13
5th Grade Test: May 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14

SBDM Parent Nominations

SBDM Parent Council Member Nomination Form is open to accept nominations.
Deadline: Must be submitted/postmarked by 5/15/25

Qualifications: A parent council member shall be a parent, step parent, foster parent or legal guardian of a student attending the school during the council member’s term of office. A parent is ineligible if he/she is an employee or a relative of an employee (father, mother, brother, sister, husband, wife, son, daughter) of that school or for the district central office, or a local school board member or the spouse of a school board member. Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten registration is open to anyone that has a child that will turn age 5 before August 2025. It is extremely important to get your child registered as soon as possible. It helps us to better prepare for next school year. Call for an appointment today or stop by the school office to get started.

Please bring the following with you:
Child’s birth certificate, Physical exam, Dental Exam, Immunization record, KY Eye Exam Form, Proof of Residency (ex. Utility Bill), KY Dental Screening, Social Security Card (if Possible), and Legal Guardianship (If student isn’t living with parent)

Awards Day

May 22, 2025 we will have awards day for kindergarten through fifth grade. If your child is receiving an award, you will receive an invitation letter to attend the awards program.
