The Marion County Board of Education approved the middle school boundary lines for the 2024-25 school year at its regular monthly meeting Thursday, March 14.

The boundaries will go into place next school year when the district returns to a two middle school alignment. The boundaries will place approximately the same number of students at both Marion County Middle School and Lebanon Middle School (currently Marion County Knight Academy).

The district is still in the process of determining exact boundary lines for the school district's four elementary schools. The district worked with Transfinder, a company focusing on school logistics, to create proposed boundary lines.

More information concerning the MCPS redistricting plan can be found here.
